Peace at Christmas

2012 has been about freeing my creative spirit, partly by going back to basics. I collaged fabric scraps from a vibrant palette along with free motion quilting to create this tree art, embracing the process simply because I enjoy it. 

Decided to go free-form this year. Every Christmas card is different! 

Taylor's choir ended the AASO Holiday Pops concert with the song "Let there be peace on earth." This is my prayer for the new year, and that it can begin within me.
